LITHOLOGY BREWING FUNDRAISERS
| Lithology Brewing Co. is a licensed New York State Farm Brewery located in Farmingdale, NY. Kevin Cain, P.G. is part owner of Lithology and the brewery has been sponsoring NYSCPG annually since 2020 with a special beer, partial proceeds of which go directly to support this organization. NYSCPG greatly appreciates the efforts of Kevin and his company in supporting the profession of geology in New York State. If you find yourself in the Farmingdale area on Long Island, make a stop by the brewery at 211A Main St. and show them some support. |
Thin Section Pale Ale
In December 2020, Lithology produced the Thin Section Pale Ale for the first NYSCPG fundraiser. This American style pale ale was around for a short geologic time-frame and helped raise funds for the Council.

Pleistocence Pilsner The Pleistocene Pilsner was released in December 2021 as the second beer in the NYSCPG fundraising series. The beer was shipped in bulk to each regional group in New York (BAPG, CNYAPG, HMPGA, and LIAPG) and sold by NYSCPG members as part of the fundraising effort. |
Peter's Porter NYSCPG continued to work with Lithology in the effort to promote geology and great beer throughout New York. Without good geology and water, great beer cannot be brewed. This was released in October 2022 at The First Annual Geology Days as a fundraiser for the organization. |
