Abstract: Geophysics and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) – How to Find, Map, and Manage What You Want to Hit or Miss Before Digging, Drilling, Or Building” will introduce the applied science of geophysics as it relates to the engineering, environmental, and energy markets. Concepts regarding why, when, where, and how to incorporate geophysics into projects will be covered, along with an outline of geophysical techniques and applications. Numerous case histories will be presented to showcase the myriad ways in which geophysics can be cost-effectively applied to project design, development, construction, excavation, or remediation.
