This virtual course is intended for prospective professional geologist applicants and geologist professionals interested in best nurturing future licensees on their team.  It is critical that applicants clearly and thoroughly understand the criteria and processes associated with the NYS Professional Geology licensure application.

This course discusses, in an informal and participatory format, the communication, organization, and expression of experience on the licensure application.  The course reviews the current regulatory requirements, forms, and submission processes necessary for successful application. Attendees of this session will garner a better sense of what is required when applying for licensure, the importance of clear and concise writing skills, and an understanding of why comprehending instructions, seeking help, and networking are all critical success factors.

This course provides resources for licensure, but does not provide PDH credit. Access to the course will be sent out to those who register approximately one week prior to the event.
